| With some "moon tables" you get the start and end times for the day's two lunar periods. These periods are always the same length...usually 2 hours. There is no mention of the vital solar periods or how good the day is over all. It may show today's moon phase. |

| With others you get only the begin times for the day's four lunar times, and are told the Majors last a certain length, while the Minors are shorter in duration. Again, there is no mention of the all-important solar periods or how good the day's potential may be. |
