If you are in one of the red areas, select the time zone to your immediate east, then subtract 15 degrees from your present longitude. For example, if you are in Nashville, TN, you are in the Central Time Zone and your longitude is 86 degrees, 41 minutes. Therefore, you would choose the Eastern Time Zone and enter 71 degrees, 41 minutes, (86 - 15 = 71).

If you are in one of the blue areas, select the time zone to your immediate west, then add 15 degrees to your present longitude. For example, if you are in Boise, ID, you are in the Mountain Time Zone and your longitude is 116 degrees, 13 minutes. Therefore, you would choose the Pacific Time Zone and enter 131 degrees, 13 minutes, (116 + 15 = 131).
